There are currently no special events taking place at the church.
VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED
The church is open every day of the year. 2pm until 4pm. Volunteers to assist Bob with guiding in the Winter months are really appreciated. So if you are too busy sping and Summer you will be most welcomed during the winter months. November to March. The winter months are no less busy visitor wise. A particulary warm Sunday afternoon in December this year we had 25 visitors, (not a coach tour either) of course that does not mean we do not have our quieter days, but there is always plenty to do and learn.
So if you have a couple of hours to spare during the winter months give Bob a ring, or pop up to the church and have a chat, but be warned you will find yourelf hooked!
All gardeners know that the gardening is never finished, most of the hard work is done, but the weeds do need to be kept in constant check. If you love gardening and would like to give a few hours of your time it is always greatly appreciated. Be it a one off afternoon, a couple of hours a week or once a month. Maybe gardening isnt your thing but you like history and could do some research or just come and help to welcome the visitors and become a guide, Bob is always very grateful.
